Wedding of Mrs & Mrs Sterland @ Tournerbury Woods Estate

Kerry & Mandy Sterland were married at Tournerbury Woods Estate (www.tournerbury.com) on Wednesday 25th July 2018. It must of been the hottest day to date, but it was one of the loveliest I have had the pleasure of photographing. We arrived for bridal prep where both brides were getting ready in the cottage on site.

Their Dog did a great job of bringing the rings to them during the ceremony which was held outside with hay bales for seating! A live band played until later into the night and the couple honeymooned at Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.

Wedding of Mr & Mrs Read @ Portsmouth Registry Office

Saturday 23rd June 2018 was a very very hot day, it was also Ann & John Read’s wedding day. They had chosen Portsmouth Registry Office for their ceremony (www.portmouth.gov.uk/ext/registrars/life-events-and-services) with the reception held at The Railway Club in Fratton. Hair was by Joanna Brown at Brown’s Hair Salon, and the bride did her own make up. Just over 40 family and friends joined the couple as they took their vows, including my husband as he is the brides cousin! Over 100 others joined the couple later for the after party.

Wedding of Mr & Mrs Lyons @ The Porthouse Port Solent

Tina Kemp married Kev Lyons on Saturday 4th August 2018 at The Porthouse Port Solent (www.theporthouse.org). Tina is a wedding hair specialist (Tinas Mobile Hairdressing on Facebook 07868899446) and I have worked along her a few times so it was a pleasure to photograph her wedding. I also had the added bonus of working with some of my favourites, Kim Kingston from The Beauty Shed (www.thebeautyshedsouthsea.co.uk) who did Tina & her bridesmaids make up, and Jazz who did everyones hair (www.jazzrawlinsbridal.co.uk). I also had the pleasure of working alongside Clare Maker who was not only a bridesmaid but she blew us away with the stunning flowers (Bespoke Floristry by Clare on Facebook 07535677218). The room was made extra pretty by Vintage Rose Creations (www.vintagerosecreations.co.uk). The ceremony was very emotional and I have to say I did enjoy the after party (hic)

Wedding of Mr & Mrs Clark – Holiday Inn, Southsea

Saturday 11 August took us to The Holiday Inn in Southsea (www.ihg.com/Holiday_Inn/Southsea) for the wedding of Helen Connolly and Matthew Clark. The wedding was due to take place at 2pm, but due the the Southsea Kite Festival traffic, things were slightly delayed, but this didn’t make the day any less enjoyable at all. Hair was by Amber Tee and Make up was by Phang, who both did a fabulous job. The bride decided on the beautiful Rock Gardens near The Pyramids for their couple shots and a quick stop off to the Kite Festival on the way back!

Wedding of Mr & Mrs Robbins – Saturday 26 May 2018

Gemma Welch & Mike Robbins were married at St Marys Church Portchester on Saturday 26 May 2018. We arrived for bridal preparations at The Marriot Hotel (www.marriot.co.uk/portmouth) which is also where the couple had their reception where a surprise guest (David Haye) turned up after we left, typical!

The day was warm but very windy but we found a lovely area sheltered by the castle for couple shots. Hair was by Annette Bradford (www.elegancebridalcoiffure.co.uk), and make up was by Georgina Chambers (https://www.georginachambers.co.uk)

Everyone was so friendly that we didn’t want to leave, such a lovely day and the photos say it all!
